The company also owns and manages several major investor-focused resources conferences across Australia. Bill has made a remarkable impression on Australia Africa’s mining industry; he created and launched the “Africa Down Under” Conference (ADU) in 2003, and in 2010 was asked by the former Federal Trade Minister, Hon Simon Crean to form an industry working group to build closer links between Australian mining companies, and Australian and African governments, thus paving the way for the establishment of The Australia Africa Minerals & Energy Group in April 2011, where Bill served as a Director for five years. Bill has recently commenced a second term on Australian Foreign Minister’s Advisory Group on Australian African Relations (AAGAR). He was also National Chair of the Australian-African Business Council (AABC) and since 2003 has been proud to serve as the Honorary Consul for South Africa in Western Australia.
