Mine Site Assessment Tool (MSAT)
By AAMEG | 26 October 2021
This new Mine Site Assessment Tool presents an alternative view of doing what matters. Coming from local communities it reflects directly on their concerns for the well-being and development opportunities for individuals and the collective community. Based on wide-ranging testing and consultation, the set of fifteen questions is intended as a starting point to constructive engagement at any mine site, big or small. The second part of the toolkit provides brief explanations of why each of the fifteen issues is important and needs to be taken seriously.
