2012 to 2040 Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa study – AfDB

Speaking at the first New Partnership for Africa’s Development (Nepad) Infrastructure Africa conference in South Africa, the African Development Bank (AfDB) Manager of Regional Integration and Trade – Mr Ralph Olaye – noted that Africa required an estimated $360bn to implement basic regional infrastructure across the continent in the next quarter century. These findings were drawn from the Study on Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA).
